Ox in Training: Puppy leading calf
I was having trouble getting Scout to go ahead of me so I hitched the pup up to him and let him lead the way. It worked great.

Pretty interesting...! Have you heard of anyone else who is training a puppy to train an ox? VM
I'm not aware of it being done before,but --- probably it has.
It is not unusual to use two people while training oxen.
