Thanks for your terrific blog! I love the anatomy diagrams. Scout is handsome and the dog is cute, too; not to mention the lovely family. So much good info, presented beautifully.

Ethology is such a big word I have to keep looking it up to remember what it means. Am I an ethologist? “No,” not by occupation, and “Yes,” if being interested in animal behavior counts.
What did you think of the documentary March of the Penquins? I thought it was awesome. (That reminds me, I was going to add it to my favorite movies list.)
Have you seen the Korean documentary Old Partner about an elderly farmer Choi and his ox. http://www.hancinema.net/korean_movie_Old_Partner.php
I would love to see it but haven’t been able to find it.

march of the penguins sort of reminded me of what kind of hardtimes my parents might have went through to raise me
ReplyDeleteI like your March of the Penguins analogy. But surely you’ve not been that hard on your parents have you? ;-)
ReplyDeleteWere you able to buy Old Partner, or how did you get to see it?
I like the name of your blog — do you live by a lake?
